At Unity of Sheboygan, your children
can develop a healthy relationship with God, learn positive values, share their
feelings, communicate with one another and develop a healthy self
image.
Lessons are designed to start children on their path of spiritual
discovery, and to the power of Christ within. Music, crafts, games
and other activities are designed to support the positive thoughts
and success of each child, self-love and confidence, and embrace
life's diversity.

Unity Children's GOD
Basics:
Wherever I am, God is,
and God is only good.
God's light shines in
me and in everything.
My thoughts and words
affect how I see my world.
Prayer keeps me
connected to God.
I use the Truth I am
learning in
everything I think, say and do.

Babies and
Infants, ages 0-3, have
Nursery care provided during our time of service. Our focus is on
age-appropriate play and providing a secure, loving environment

Infants
and children under five years of age are cared for in a warm and nurturing
environment. Caregivers model and encourage behavior that reflects the
child’s divine nature.
Music is used to teach simple
concepts (such as “This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine!”).
Positive affirmations are discussed and rehearsed.

UNIKIDS
(5 to 11 year olds)
Children five to eleven years of age attend the UniKids class. A
variety of curricula are utilized to provide children the opportunity to
experience their divine qualities. The program relies on the use of
affirmations, children’s storybooks, bible passages games, music,
meditation, role-plays and crafts to help children explore Unity
principles in practice.

UNITEENS
(12 - 14 year olds)
Youngsters twelve to
fourteen years of age participate in the UniTeens class. Various curricula
are utilized to explore issues of particular interest to adolescents.
Lessons strive to empower teens with the spiritual wisdom to fulfill their
soul’s purpose in everyday life. Teens discuss issues related to the world
“out there” and their “inner selves”. Open discussion, affirmation,
meditation, prayer and study are used to provide teens with the tools for
practical spirituality.

WATCH YOUR THOUGHTS
Watch
your thoughts,
For they become your words.
Listen to your words,
For they become your actions.
Watch your actions,
For they become your habits.
Watch your habits,
For they become your character.
Watch your character,
For it becomes your destiny |
CHILDREN ARE LIKE A
BANK
Children are
like a bank in which we store
Faith in the future and all human lore,
The ideas and ideals of our race.
In the bright wonder of an upturned face,
We see the whole hope of man's betterment.
Children are savings but cannot be spent.
It is a joy to hold the helpless, small
Armful that is a babe, yet best of all
Is this: to give our children back again
To life, grown up, young women and young men.
Life lets us have our children as a loan,
Ours to enjoy and guard but not to own,
To increase like our talents, not to hoard.
Children are an investment of the Lord.
